Role Model Scientists Videos




		The BioMedical Faces of Science program features six role model scientists. Each has been chronicled in a series of videos depicting their backgrounds, their draw to science and their dedication and commitment to their respective field of science. The videos are segmented into the following categories:



		Introduction	The scientists share excitement and intellectual curiosity about their scientific interest and efforts to address and eliminate health disparities.



		Biography	The BFS scientists share with students how they choose their field of study, mentors who influenced them, challenges and obstacles faced growing up and how they achieved their career goals.



		Conversation	Each scientist answers personal and professional questions from students about their life and work.



	`	Simulations	Students are invited into the research laboratory of each role model BFS scientist to explore research topics which will lead to a better understanding of health disparities.
